Desk pedestals – Similar idea… Are the drawers opening smoothly? Are the locks still working? Are some stuck shut?! For some, that’s a ‘rain stops play’…
Desk chairs – Are they still strong and firm? Is the height adjustment mechanism working? Or, are some members of staff finding themselves having to get up and walk around a bit because they are uncomfortable? If the answer to that last question is ‘yes’, then you may have turned your employees into dibbly dobblers… (Legit cricketing term, promise!).
Office desks – Has your IT infrastructure grown so much that you’re now seeing cables everywhere? Is your ‘corridor of uncertainty’ interrupting the work flow? Worse still, is it actually a trip hazard? It’s worth a check.
Office screens – Are those office screens actually hiding a multitude of sins? This may be your equivalent of cow corner, but wouldn’t it be better to review your office storage solutions and get all that ‘stuff’ put neatly away so it’s easy to find in the future?
Office cupboards – Further to the point above… do you actually need more? Perhaps some additional storage with lockable tambour doors will help you give this mess the slip? Even a cricket pavilion deserves a few good lockers…
